I have played around with the google trends api frome here
Seems that since June 6th, HK has been leading among the protest counter parts around the world such as Chile and Catalonia. I was wondering if we can hack together something that shows interested about HK across different parts of the world and hopefully see if we can reach out to ppl for support.
Any ideas?
Nice! How did you graph this? And can you see where the interest comes from? Lastly, what about related terms?
Just good old matplotlib, but seems that its a bit inconsistent to what I found on the google trends website itself
I was thinking maybe can also make use of like twitter hastags trends to identify what helps with the spike.

Yeah, maybe that would help too, but not sure about google news, don’t have much knowledge on that
