I will be attending this Open Data conference this afternoon and will report back on this thread. I’m particularly interested in chatting to the representative of the Lands Department about their plans to open their currently very, very closed data.

I wouldn’t say I learnt anything particularly new, but it was good to see this conference happening, at least. It’s just a shame everyone spoke over the gentleman from London 
There was no sign of Open Data Hong Kong… What are they up to? Can they give us their domain name if they’re in hibernation??
Oh, and the Lands Department has no plans to open up the transactions data re-published on centadata.com anyway…
